Excelente lugar, desde el inicio la atención fue cálida y justa. Elegimos pedir bruschettas, dos risottos (de hongos y langostinos), un tiramisu y vino malbec. Cada uno mejor que el anterior, tanto en texturas como profundidad de sabores. 10/10

We had a wonderful meal at Spalatin. The croquettes were just the right balance of crispy and creamy, the fish soup was very flavorful, the truffle pasta had a delicious sauce, perfectly made and cooked pasta and shrimp, and the veal special was well seasoned throughout and very tender with a tasty demi-glace.<br><br>On top of the great food, our service was stellar. Lidia is charming and welcoming, gave us great recommendations, super prompt service and surprised us with some history and points of interest of the local area. We can't say enough good things about her and her service.<br><br>The restaurant is in a picturesque location with a view of the fountain and harbor from the renovated theatre, and is kept very clean.

Best service! Five stars are not enough.. we had such a great time and lots of fun with the service. Food was amazing. Wonderful athmosphere at sunset. Good offer for a 3 course menu!

This was one of the best meals of our holiday across Croatia. I had the chef’s steak and my dad had the daily special veal and potatoes which was only €19 (absolute bargain!!). Both were outstanding. I have absolutely no complaints about my meal other than I could have kept eating if there was more! Definitely recommend and the location is lovely too.

Ate there last night Lydia was our waitress, we had the veal special and turkey with mashed , we are a bit of a pita with some food allergies, but all handles well, . Meal was super tasty and some good local wine to pair

After having read the reviews of the other restaurants at the square, we choose Spalatin and still think it was the right choice: friendly, talkative and humourfull staff, nice seaview and, most important, delicious food, from starter (bruschetta tomato), to mains (fettucini alfredo and chicken) up until dessert (tiramisu). By Dutch standards, the bill of less than €70,- felt more than reasonable.<br>If you read this review, scroll down to other reviews of this restaurant and chose this one.

What a great setting. Wonderful welcome from the staff and great service. Swordfish steak - sublime. My steak, equally good. Wine selection was good and we had a great bottle of red. (Krolo Kastelanski) I’m quite impressed with the local<br>Red wine! Very festive yet classy spot!

Abbiamo mangiato due volte durante il nostro soggiorno a Split, i piatti sono deliziosi, porzioni abbondanti e presentati molto bene! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo rispetto ad altri ristoranti vicini. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, ottimo servizio. Consigliatissimo !!!

Wir hatten ein großartiges Abendessen! Das Essen war super und der Service noch viel besser! Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat unseren Abend zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Besonders die Kinder wurden verwöhnt. Ich fand es sehr angenehm, dass man nur überdacht sitzen kann wenn man auch isst. Das hat der Atmosphäre und dem Geräuschpegel zu gute getan. Preise sind der Location entsprechend, und nicht zu teuer für ein gutes Essen.<br>Vielen Dank!

Besonders positiv: Kartenzahlung war problemlos möglich – was in Kroatien auch in Restaurants noch längst nicht überall Standard ist.<br><br>Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Der Rauch aus der Küche zog ständig auf die Terrasse, was etwas störend war. Außerdem kam die Hälfte der Gerichte ein paar Minuten später – wurde aber direkt freundlich entschuldigt.<br><br>Trotz der kleinen Mankos war es insgesamt ein gelungener Besuch in einem gut besuchten Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Daher 4 von 5 Sternen.
