The croquettes were just the right balance of crispy and creamy, the fish soup was very flavorful, the truffle pasta had a delicious sauce, perfectly made and cooked pasta and shrimp, and the veal special was well seasoned throughout and very tender with a tasty demi-glace.<br><br>On top of the great food, our service was stellar. Lidia is charming and welcoming, gave us great recommendations, super prompt service and surprised us with some history and points of interest of the local area. We can't say enough good things about her and her service.<br><br>The restaurant is in a picturesque location with a view of the fountain and harbor from the renovated theatre, and is kept very clean.

We had a wonderful meal at Spalatin. I had the chef’s steak and my dad had the daily special veal and potatoes which was only €19 (absolute bargain!!). Both were outstanding. I have absolutely no complaints about my meal other than I could have kept eating if there was more! Definitely recommend and the location is lovely too.

This was one of the best meals of our holiday across Croatia. I had the chef’s steak and my dad had the daily special veal and potatoes which was only €19 (absolute bargain!!). Both were outstanding. I have absolutely no complaints about my meal other than I could have kept eating if there was more! Definitely recommend and the location is lovely too.

Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat unseren Abend zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Besonders die Kinder wurden verwöhnt. Ich fand es sehr angenehm, dass man nur überdacht sitzen kann wenn man auch isst. Das hat der Atmosphäre und dem Geräuschpegel zu gute getan. Preise sind der Location entsprechend, und nicht zu teuer für ein gutes Essen.<br>Vielen Dank!
