We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. A special thank you to our server, Ivan, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. His service truly made our visit even more enjoyable. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Wow, I am so impressed! We chose the hotel restaurant just because we were jet lagged and couldn’t summon the energy to go further. What a great choice. Each dish had complex flavours, beautifully arranged, and our waiter, Ivan, described the local ingredients so well that it added to our overall experience. We had the osso bucco homemade ravioli and scampi risotto. Utterly delicious. We’ll be back to sample more of this menu.

I took my husband to dinner for his birthday at Mediterranee last month and it was truly one of the best, if not the best dining experiences in Split. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, with lovely music enchanting the restaurant, nestled in the stunning Ambasador hotel on the most breathtaking strip of the Adriatic Sea.<br><br>We were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes from all of the staff. I had pre ordered a 5- course tasting menu with wine pairings.<br><br>Chef Nikola’s food truly blew us away, each course elevating our tastebuds to another level. He used local traditional ingredients but cooked them in the most modern and exciting ways. The wine pairings were focused on local Dalmatian varietals, which was very nice with the cuisine.<br><br>Our server, Marko was a shining star and a true hospitality professional. He checked back with us after each course, always with a helpful smile. His table maintenance was on point and we couldn’t have been happier with him.<br><br>At the end of the meal, chef Nikola sent out a birthday cake (yes and entire birthday cake!) that he made specially for my husbands birthday. This restaurant is a must visit, when in Split! The staff and the chef at Mediterranee truly know how to knock your socks off. 10/10 recommend!

We had our mom's 70th birthday at this restaurant on Oct. 27 while traveling in Croatia. After learning our special occasion, our server went above and beyond, with unforgettable and exceptional service, and even got us pieces of cake that we chose free of charge.. Thank you very much for a truly memorable evening!

Last night we went for dinner at Mediterranee restaurant, there was an wine pairing dinner event and it was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere at the restaurant was great, there was live guitarist that we really enjoyed, service was on the point and the wines were really tasty and well paired with the 5 course menu, but absolute star of the night was food, really outstanding and Michelin star worthy.<br>I will recommend this restaurant to everyone an definitely come back again.

One of the best meals of my life. I had the Mediterranean Salad, Osso Bucco, and the chocolate dessert. Everything from the bread service to suggested wine pairing was absolutely perfect. Ivan made me feel perfectly comfortable as a solo diner. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had such a wonderful dinner last night! The location was stunning with a beautiful view, and the food was absolutely excellent. Our server, Ivan Z, was extremely friendly and impressively knowledgeable about both the food and wine. His recommendations for each course were spot on, and we enjoyed every dish we tried. To top it all off, the live music created the perfect atmosphere. A truly memorable evening!

As recently arrived guests of the Hotel Ambassador, we selected Méditerranée out of convenience. The decor is beautiful, the late day view of the Old Town in the golden sun, and the setting at the water’s edge all make for a spectacular setting for dinner. As it turns out, we were treated to a 5 star dining experience, hosted by our server Ivan, who explained the local origins of the foods we were served, which included olive oil pressed from 80 year old trees owned by the Hotel Ambassador, salt (fleur de sel?) collected directly from the oceans edge, salad greens harvested from the wild, locally caught Red Snapper and Hake, etc. I imagine that this new restaurant (only about 1 year old) will some day have one or more Michellin stars. I would try to enjoy an excellent dining experience before the world finds out and you have to make a reservation months in advance. I doubt that you’ll regret your decision.

We have been to Split pretty much once every year for the past 10 years and are always looking for new restaurants to try.
This year, I came across Méditerraneé in the Ambasador Hotel and the menu read so great and the reviews were so good, I thought we should give it a try - and I am so happy we did!<br>Between a very warm and professional welcome to the hotel (first impressions count!), delicious food, excellent wine and - above all - outstanding and super friendly service (from Ivan Z.), we had such a wonderful evening!<br>All paired with a lovely view of the marina, we are already looking forward to seeing you again next year!<br>Hvala lipa, vidimo se!

Great and tasty food. Bartender Zebić was great and he introduce us with a food that we ordered and with a wine cart, he was of a great help and his knowledge about food and wines and service was of a great help and pleasure to us.

Restoran uz more u Splitu s prekrasnim pogledom, idealan za romantičnu večeru ili posebnu priliku. Hrana je bila vrhunska – svako jelo s puno pažnje pripremljeno i preukusno. Posebno bih pohvalila osoblje: izuzetno ljubazni, nasmijani i profesionalni, učinili su da se osjećamo baš posebno. Ambijent, usluga i kvaliteta hrane su na najvišoj razini.
