Inmitten von Split ein kleines feines Taco Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu gross, wie meist sonst in der Gegend, dafür dürfte für jeden Liebhaber mexikanischen Essens etwas dabei sein. Das Ganze in einer tollen rustikalen Atmosphäre.<br>Es wird nur Cash akzeptiert, was einen die Bedingung aber von Anfang an sagt.

Amazing food. I got the three different kind of tacos and the al pastor and carnitas tacos were divine. The horchata was so tasty and the ice tea was nice and sweet. The restaurant was quiet when we went just after noon on a weekday and the service was incredible. There was also a very cute and sleepy cat to greet us at the entrance. Would definitely go back!

Ein tolles Restaurant, mit super netten Personal und tollem Essen. Wir hatten einmal die Taco Variationen und den Chimichanga. Beides war großartig und richtig lecker! Es gab rein gar nichts auszusetzen. Achtung: Nur Bar Zahlung möglich!

had a great dinner at To Je Tako. The atmosphere was great with friendly staff who were organised with seating arrangements - it’s best to get in early as it is a cosy vibe but limited seats. The food was incredible with lots of options for vegetarian, spice and your fav Mexican classics. The food is well worth its price (€16-25)- delicious! Drinks were tasty and fast to come out.

I loved trying tacos around the world. These were genuinely some of the best I’ve had in Europe. I ordered several options - pork rib (Al pastor), carnitas, and beans & plantain. All incredible. The horchata was a 10/10 and my husband also had the fish tacos, which was also incredible. Can’t go wrong with this place if you need a break from all the local classics. :)

Hyggeligt lille sted, med virkelig god mad!! vi fik nachos og fried burrito. Det var virkelig lækkert, og vi kunne ikke spise op, da portionerne er store og mætter en del. Personalet er virkelig søde og opmærksomme!<br>Ulemperne ved stedet er: man sidder ikke så godt, det er små skamler uden ryglæn og en meget dyb bænk med vindue lige ud til gaden, hvor der står en kø af mennesker for at komme ind. De står derfor og kigger direkte ned på én, hvilket var lidt stressende.<br>Men tag herhen for at få virkelig god, autentisk mexicansk mad!

Very cute Mexican restaurant in old town Split. It's a great option if you're looking for something a bit different from the other restaurants in town. Excellent veggie and vegan options too. The food is very tasty but it's not served spicy so you can add your own heat levels. For spice lovers the hot sauces are exceptional and have a fantastic heat. Great margaritas also! I love how they donate money to the street cats of Split. A nice kind idea.

We had a spectacular Mexican meal in To Je Tako. We tried the tacos, burritos and quesadillas. All beautifully presented and were delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive. A great evening. Highly recommended. Sin é (that’s it) 😀.

The food was authentic and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the service. The staff went out of their way to help us choose dishes and even offered different sauces to try, which made the experience feel personal and thoughtful.<br><br>Everything arrived quickly and tasted great. The only downside was the portion size—it felt a bit small for the price. But considering the location, right in the heart of the castle area, that’s somewhat expected.<br><br>Still, for quality Mexican food and genuinely welcoming service, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

A fantastic find in one of the small streets or Split which is like stepping out of Europe into Central America. The food was fantastic, traditional dishes with moreish flavours. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Be aware it is cash only, but there is an ATM around the corner. Definitely worth a visit.<br><br>Pic is of the three tacos (fish, mushroom and vegetable)

Woowwwwww!!! Such an exceptional service and food, you must go to this place in your tour to split! Definitely can't miss if you are a Mexican food lover and like different flavours bursting in your mouth giving your palette a rich ride of tastes coming together so nicely...It's a small place and hence you might have to wait until being seated if you are going on weekend, but I promise it would be worth it ... Being a vegetarian this is a gold mine to find!!

Ne može se platiti karticom i to mi je bio jedini problem. Hrana je bila izvrsna, osoblje uslužno. Jeli smo enchilade od piletine i govedine, porcije su ogromne.

Had a lovely dinner here on our first night in split. Had to wait for a table but that’s because it’s a popular (and very yummy) place. Prices were reasonable and the margaritas were perfect with our food choices. Very authentic as the owner is Mexican and the staff were all lovely. Definitely recommend !
