Lafido did not disappoint, we came by on a random night for dinner and we were the only party there. It was great because we got to watch the Split football game with some great food. The cevapi was delicious and fresh which is exactly what I wanted in the moment. The service was good and the prices were modest. Definitely come here for a quality meal with no frills, you won’t be disappointed.

Visited here twice this summer.<br><br>This is the first Turkish style restaurant in Split and it’s done well.<br><br>The decor is cosy lots of space and they even have the traditional Turkish copper grill out the back.<br><br>As a partner of a Turk I have a lot of love for Turkish food and enjoyed my dinner here. Is it the most authentic Turkish? No, but it’s a great start!<br><br>Both times I tried the Adana kebab and the doner kebab. Both are huge meals, good price value and very tasty. The meat is very well seasoned and comes with lots of sides, salads, cacik, bulgur and fries.<br><br>The staff are all very friendly, quick service and can pay by cash or card easy. They also all speak perfect English as a bonus.<br><br>What I would love to see on the menu is some dolma (stuffed vine leaves), Turkish tea, ayran, maybe some Turkish desserts like kunefe and a Turkish mix grill 😉 everyone’s favourites.<br><br>So I’ll keep visiting and supporting and am excited to see this business grow and provide more amazing Turkish food in Croatia.

Nice Turkish restaurant and friendly staff. I myself do not eat meat and they accommodated really well for me (see right half of photo), it was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! Pulled lots of tables together so all 13 of us could sit together. Brought extra sauces over for us and overall very very nice experience. Big portion sizes for such a good price!!

Ažuriram - recenzija se odnosi na bivši restoran "e'vala...neka godina". U Lafidu nisam bila - Moram priznati da nisam manje niti očekivala, sva, ali sva jela su u potpunosti opravdala ocjenu. Vrlo maštovito primpremljena, izbalansirana, vizualno privlačna i vrlo, vrlo ukusna. Započeli smo s tatarskim biftekom s aromatiziranim maslacem, odličan, serviran uz domaću focacciu. Radi ovoga ću se vratiti sigurno. Za glavno jelo pljukanci s raguom od bifteka, arancini također od bifteka i raviol pašticada - sve prefino, favorit je pašticada, puna ukusa, kremozna, interesantna. Slatko - čokoladni souffle sa sladoledom od teranina, zapečeni cheesecake s karamelom i kruška u prefinoj kremi sa krustom (đumbir?), radi kruške se vraćam ponovno, no i kolač je bio odličan. Restoran je nov, vrlo ugodan ambijent, osoblje profesionalno i nenametljivo. Cijena je prihvatljiva s obzirom na konzumaciju uz 2 butelje vina, kave - 50 eur po osobi. Kada izađeš zadovoljan iz restorana znači da vrijedi svaki eur. Apsolutna preporuka!

Excellent food and service. The food was well presented and it was very filling, delicious and fresh! Wished we found it sooner in our visit in Split cause we would definitely have went again. It was a nice atmosphere with seating outside and inside. Would recommend! It was also reasonably priced - we had 2 mains, extra side of fries, water and a cocktail for €31 (not including a tip!). Just amazing!
