Very cute and intimate place where you get to know the cook, who does everything by himself. Great experience, but the food is average. A lot of veggies, which is nice, but the plates are too similar, too big, and drowning in oil and the seasoning don't do the veggies justice.

Absolutely amazing. We went on Friday without knowing we needed a reservation, so we made one for the next day. Chef Saša Obucina is the only worker in the restaurant. He cooks, serves you, cleans, everything alone. That’s why he only accepts few people per day. Felt really exclusive, he was super kind and the food was one of the best I have ever had in my entire life. He cooks mostly vegan and vegetarian, but also serves fish. He asked what our preferences were, if we were vegan, etc. Can only recommend! But think about the reservation beforehand 😉

The best vegan restaurant in Sarajevo, we are coming here on dinner every year and the quailty of taste, ingridients and polite owner is always on high level, definitely must try vegan restaurant. IMPORTANT information: definitely not come without table reservation via phone or facebook, because only owner is cooking and he likes to give all the best in meal preperation for few tables, it's really worth to wait for a meal to be prepared because tastes are awesome.

The pear salad and the soups were quite good, the seitan was good but the black pasta with seafood was almost inedible. Stick to the vegetarian offerings. The menu is voluminous and the customer capacity is small, therefore the offerings are not freshly made. I would recommend that he trim the menu substantially. Not a bad experience…

Das Restaurant ist sehr besonders. Es erinnert einen an einen gemütlichen Innenraum eines Bootes. Der Gastgeber ist zugewandt und freundlich. Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen. Mir waren die Gerichte aber etwas zu stark gewürzt und schwer.

I'm so glad we found this place in Sarajevo - it felt like a really special evening. It's really cute and cosy inside, and chef Sasa's passion for food is immediately clear. Excellent choice of vegan options that feel like the stars of the menu instead of an afterthought or add on. The baked seitan chilli has such depth and complex flavour, every mouthful was a delight. The vegan kebab was delicious with a lovely, lemony tahini dressing. The raw cheesecake was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The effort and creativity that's gone into each dish is incredible - highly recommend when visiting Sarajevo.

This is a chef’s restaurant and that is why you need to book before coming. It has vegan, vegetarian and fish options. Ours was a really flavorful plates and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant itself has a stylish design like you are in a cruise. Since the only employee is Sasa himself, it was a bit slow service but this is also expected from a chef’s restaurant as he cooks on demand only. You can give a shot.

Samen met mijn vrouw heerlijk genoten van de glutenvrije pasta. Als toetje was er de glutenvrije tiramisu. Je proeft hoe heerlijk vers de producten zijn en hoe ze bereid worden met passie. Bij ons volgende bezoek aan Sarajevo gaan we zeker terug naar Karuzo ( Sacha ) Dankjewel voor de fijne culinaire avond!

We just had an amazing meal here at Karuzo. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, and had lots of chats with him before ordering and between courses. We arrived at 7pm so were the first couple through the door, and service was amazing and personable. The owner was a real character and clearly really believes in his healthy food mission which is great. I'd recommend eating here early as we did. Yes, people were being refused at the door with no reservation, but this is one man doing everything himself with a vision to make amazing food fresh for each person, so understandably numbers need to be limited each day and can't change last-minute. We had the bruschetta to start, the seitan chilli and Buddha bowl for mains and the ice cream for dessert. All were incredible, and this night definitely goes down in the memory books. Thank you so much Sasa, we appreciate what you're doing!

Genuinely incredible. I’m not even vegetarian, but the meal was one of the best I’ve had in Sarajevo. The chef, Sasa, is incredibly detailed. This is a spot Anthony Bourdain would enjoy. Just get a reservation and enjoy.
