Would definitely recommend Food House Mostar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a really nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. Not too busy when we went and so the Bosnian Grilled Meat Selection arrived quite quickly. Portion size was good and the taste was amazing. 5 stars all round.

We’ve had an amazing time at the Food House Mostar and we have managed to eat very well there multiple times over our stay in Mostar. Food was very tasty and not greasy, definitely worth the price, which isn’t exactly expensive at all. Atmosphere was warm and very homey, waiters were lovely and the local music playing in the background made you feel like you’re at your balkan grandma’s house.

Very tasty food and great service. We came here once and just had to come back again! Ben is super friendly and showed us how Bosnian coffee is prepared. Highly recommended!

Food is ok, we enjoyed trying local dishes and the home style plate was nice. The falafel in the salad is delicious but the salad sadly has no dressing at all and was dry and flavourless. The waiter was very busy as there was only 2 of them for the whole place so service was slow

Leider ist der Service nicht sehr aufmerksam. Man wird 30 Minuten lang sitzen gelassen mit leeren Tellern und muss mehrfach nachfragen um zahlen zu können. Preise sind eher am oberen Ende. Am Essen gabs an sich wenig auszusetzen, dennoch haben wir woanders aber auch schon besser gegessen.

Excellent place to eat. Service was by far the best we had in Mostar. Vegetarian plate was very good. And the rose wine was the best we had in Bosnia & Herzegovina!

We had the most amazing meal the meat platter for 2 . I had been in Croatia for two weeks but this was best meal ever !! Thanks to Jasmin our waiter who looked after us very professional good English. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a must we were on a trip would have liked to stay longer due to time to get back to the bus. Thank you 😊

Leider liegt das Foodhouse nicht so schön, wie andere Restaurants in der Altstadt, aber immerhin gibt es für Vegetarier/Veganer hier auch etwas anderes als gegrilltes Gemüse oder Salat. Meine Frau nahm etwas mit selbst gemachten Kartoffelbrei, der war super lecker. Ich kann die Aubergine empfehlen.

The food was delicious and fresh, and the service—especially from Mr. Jasmin—was very professional and friendly. We received our food quickly, and everything tasted amazing. This is a charming and atmospheric place located almost right in the center. I highly recommend it—if you want excellent service, ask for Jasmin, and if you're looking for a delightful dining experience, this is the place to go. If I’m ever in Mostar again, I will definitely come back

(2024.08.14 기준) 1. 인종차별있습니다. 독일 교환학생으로서 이것저것 눈치밥 많이 먹고 살았는데, 담당 웨이터가 확실하게 저질러버렸습니다. 2.그럼에도 불구하고 4점인 이유는 맛은 있음. 가격도 나쁘지 않음. 3.음식 자체만 봤을 때는 다른 가게들 보다 양 적음. 대신 되게 깔끔하고 담백함. (인종차별 내용) 1-2. 만석 때문에 착석안내를 위해 당연히 문앞에서 기댜리고 있는 상황. 인종차별한 ‘그 웨이터’가 먼저 온 백인 가족 먼저 안내 해주는 상황까지 기다림. 최대한 눈마주치려 하고 대놓고 웨이터 앞에까지 가서 ‘나 대기중이야’ 티를 냈지만 눈길조차 안 줌. ‘투명인간 취급’ = 인종차별 (통행 방해 안 되는 선에서 바로 앞에 있었는데 기어코 나를 무시함) 1-3. 제일 유명한 것처럼 보이는 디쉬 (homestyle mix)와 병맥주 시킴 (Radler). ‘그 웨이터’가 서빙해줬는데 맥주 서빙하는 것부터 귀찮고 짜증내는 티 팍팍남. 그건 까진 괜찮음. 근데 메인 디쉬 서빙을 개같이 함. 디쉬를 거의 던지듯이 서빙함. 하마터면 식탁 가장자리에 걸려서 엎어질 뻔함= 인종차별 (이게 왜 인종차별이냐면 다른 백인들 똑같은 메뉴 서빙하는 거 봤는데, 신데렐라 유리구두 놓듯이 칼각에 조심히 내려놓음) 1-4. 아무리 시골 촌구석 식당이라도 손님이 음식 다먹고 쉬고 있으면 웨이터가 먼저 와서 ‘잘 먹었어? 또 필요한 건 없어?(Everything is okay?)’ 정도의 질문은 함(다 먹은 디쉬와 음료잔을 치우기 위한 일종의 국룰? 매너? 정도). 당연히 내 테이블 쳐다도 안 봄. 결국 다른 서버한테 말해서 계산 도와달라고 했고, 그 웨이터가 카드기 들고 옴. 당연히 불친절하고 영수증 그까이거 던져버리고 쌩 가버림 ㅋㅋㅋ 총평 : 한 번은 꼭 가되, 두 번 다시는 절대 안 간다.

Great Local Spot with Excellent Service We came here on the recommendation of our guide, and since we were starving, we decided to give it a try. Although there are slightly cheaper places nearby (by about 1-2€), I have nothing negative to say about this spot. The prices seemed reasonable, the food was authentic and delicious, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Plus, the staff spoke English very well. They also had Wi-Fi, which was a nice bonus. With the intense heat outside, the multiple fans and air conditioning inside made our meal even more enjoyable.

Lovely restaurant. We tried the Imam bayildi; grilled eggplant with tomato sauce, potatoes and a lot of other good stuff. Delicious! Food house has a lot of other vegan and vegetarian options too, clearly marked. The portions are decent sized. Staff is also nice and attentive.
