Stumbled upon this place and weren't disappointed. We shared the grilled seafood platter with grilled veges and it was fresh and superbly cooked. Service from Frane was excellent as was his wine recommendation. Clean toilets. Highly recommended.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant in Split! Der Kellner war ausgesprochen freundlich und man merkt sofort, dass er seinen Job mit Leidenschaft macht. Der frische Fisch vom Markt wurde vor der Bestellung präsentiert und er war einfach top! Auch das Kinderessen (Hähnchen mit Kartoffeln) war super lecker. Der Wein hat perfekt gepasst, und die Kinder konnten draußen auf dem kleinen Platz spielen, während wir unser Essen in Ruhe genießen konnten. Ein rundum entspanntes und köstliches Mittagessen, absolut empfehlenswert!

We had the traditional black risotto, which was truly phenomenal. The texture, flavor, appearance, everything about it was exceptional. And not to be outdone, we then shared the grilled seafood platter, which was the essence of fresh, local, incredible fish, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Flaky and moist flaky crispy skin which retained the smokey and tastiness from grilling. On top of everything, the place is charming, clean and welcoming, and the entire staff was super pleasant and helpful.

The fish plate for 2 that our waiter Frane recommended was one of the best ones I’ve ever had in all Croatia . The fish was fresh and grilled and seasoned to perfection. If you like Mediterranean style fish definitely go to this restaurant

We deelden een zeer lekkere Tuna tartaar en kozen als hoofdgerecht de visschotel voor twee personen(aangeraden door de ober die vooraf ook de schotel met de verse vis toonde). We genoten van deze schotel met oa zeebaars, zeeduivel en heek. Zeer tevreden over de ober. Prijzen ok.

Marjan came highly recommended to us from our Airbnb host and we definitely see why! We had the most amazing meal from start to finish! Our server Frane was absolutely incredible. He gave us excellent recommendations and was top class the whole meal! We shared the tuna tartare as well as the fish dish for two and both were absolutely stunning! We will absolutely be back on our next trip to Split!

Fabulous experience at this incredibly friendly stunningly decorated restaurant with amazing chef and very friendly staff. The fish is coming from nearby fish market, freshly caught and skillfully prepared with olive oil and garlic. This is the best fish we had on our three weeks holiday in Croatia so far! Thank you Konoba Marjan for this unforgettable dining experience

Probably the best meal we had in our 5 day visit to Split. The fact that there was a huge thunderstorm at the time we were snug and dry inside was a bonus. Don't go if you hate fish, but this fish restaurant produces amazing meals from the best of the days catch. The owner (who also waits table) is charming, knowledgeable and helpful and contributes to a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We will be back the next time we are in Split.

We had lunch one day during our time in Split and had to come back for dinner. The food was fresh, with outstanding presentation and on a lovely little square. Frane was our waiter and his joy and enthusiasm for the food were contagious. A big reason we came back.
