Highlight of the trip!<br><br>Fried fish with vegetables 5/5<br>Beef stew with gnocchi 5/5 (star of the show)<br>House salad with cottage cheese 5/5<br><br>Everything was fresh and top quality.<br><br>Also, sitting around the big tables creates that cozy vibe and definitely sparks great discussions with other travellers! Plus, the owner is a super sweet lady who adds to the warmth of the atmosphere!

One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Split was here — absolutely amazing!<br>The chef was excellent, the food was fresh and full of flavor, and the staff were super friendly.<br>It’s a small, charming restaurant right in the busy center, and I truly loved it.<br>I definitely recommend this place — 100%!

I thoroughly enjoyed having a home cooked authentic Croatian dinner to end my time in Split! I enjoyed the pastincada, the meatballs with mashed potatoes and red table wine. 10/10 experience! The food tastes like it was made with love. There are only a couple tables inside and it feels like you are in someone's kitchen. Cash Only!

Amazing food. Fresh ingredients. Wonderful portions. Friendly staff. Beware, cash only. My wife and I shared the barley with prawns and the shark in tomato sauce with polenta. Great price. Amazing food.

We were only in Croatia 5 nights and ate here 2/5 of those night because after the visit we had to go back!!! The most authentic, delish, comfort food, especially great for the colder evenings. Really recommend the barley prawn and the goulash gnocchi

Best authentic Croatian food. We were recommended this by our accommodation manager. We went back 2 days in a row because the food was so delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are quite big so make sure you are hungry when you go as you won't be disappointed. It is cash only and the place is small and cozy. You can't book which means you have to wait for a table but it is definable worth it! Enjoy!

Had the most incredible meal. The place isn’t big but we got a table sat outside which was perfect for watching the world go by. Place only accepts cash so come prepared, it’s so worth it though. The menu had about 10 options - all which sounded good, we opted for the beef stew gnocchi and the pork meatballs and potatoes. The meatballs were so flavourful and tender and went perfectly with the mashed potato. The beef gnocchi was out of this world - the beef fell apart and tasted incredible, the gnocchi was soft and delicious. The bread that they brought out was the perfect compliment to the meal and itself was very tasty. Highly recommend if you’re looking for traditional Croatian food.

We had a wonderful lunch at DeListes in Split! The restaurant is small, cosy, and beautifully rustic — the kind of place that immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the warm atmosphere.<br><br>The food was absolutely fantastic — authentic, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. We had the beef stew with gnocchi and the meatball marinara with mash, and both dishes were rich, hearty, and perfectly cooked. Une belle découverte de la cuisine croate 🇭🇷<br>Je voulais absolument goûter la Pasticada et je n’ai pas été déçue : un vrai délice ! Le ragoût de bœuf était fondant et les gnocchis parfaits. On a aussi testé les poivrons farcis accompagnée de sa purée, excellents eux aussi.<br><br>Le cadre est convivial, on s’y sent bien et le service est vraiment chaleureux.<br><br>Petit conseil : venir assez tôt, car le restaurant est petit et il peut vite y avoir un peu d’attente.<br><br>Une super adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés !

One of my favourite restaurants in Split. It feels like stepping back in time or eating at your grandma’s house. The food is delicious you can really taste the heart in it. The service was amazing; the lady (I think the owner) even showed us how they eat the fried fish with olive oil and using a piece of bread to scoop all the flavours. The menu is all handwritten, which adds a really authentic touch. Cash only, but there’s an ATM nearby. You absolutely need to try this place if you’re in Split and want traditional flavours.
